THE FERTILE LAND OF THE METOHI KINDELIS ESTATE HAS BEEN CULTIVATED SINCE THE ANCIENT TIMES

It is located in the wider region that was providing the town of Chania with fruits and vegetables for centuries. This land is in the hands of our family in the last century and managed by our family’s talented agronomist Manolis Kindelis for the past 40 years. In the late 90s Metohi Kindelis was one of the first farms in Crete to get the certification for organic agriculture and at the same time our works towards a more sustainable micro-climate and practices started.

OUR PRODUCTS

In the late 2000s Manolis Kindelis started experimenting with different sub-tropical plants some of which he managed to perfectly acclimatise to our soil.

Today our farm produces over 25 different fruit varieties, most of which we reserve to our family and guests.

THE BOTANICAL GARDEN

In a small piece of our land, approximately 10 years ago, Manolis Kindelis created a botanical garden. A beautiful calm area where plants from around the world live together harmoniously.
